The last of my photos of my cosplay, I promise!! XD This is a collage of photos to document the craftwork on the costume ^^

I am cosplaying Father Abel Nightroad from Trinity Blood (Artbook version, Reborn on the Mars arc). I had previously uploaded photos of the manga version in October 2008, which was slightly simpler. It was upgraded to the artbook for the Grand Cosplay Ball in November 2008 (mostly) then finally finished/polished off at MinamiCon 15, March 2009. I will probably wear him one last time at May London MCM Expo 2009 before I retire him for a little while to cross over to the dark side of the Rosencreuz Orden, haha!

Only basic parts of the robes were bought (and they had to get heavily customised at that, even!) - the rest (hems, slits, eyelets, accessories, fixings, props, armour) were created, customised or individually sourced by me. Shoulder guard was hammered out of copper, arrow clips and rosaries and other bits of armour sculpted of Fimo, wires, pearl beads and metal snake chains. Hair is my own, sprayed (I got sooo high on the fumes).

This was stupidly heavy and quite fragile in places - as I had never sculpted anything before, I know now for the future to reinforce my Fimo with wires and investigate wonderflex XD

As the majority of my work went on the sculpting etc. I've put this under this category, rather than the textiles/cosplay, as I thought it made more sense.
