Ah, the sword is based off one of my own basket-hilted rapiers. Thank goodness it was easy to see in my living room, I had to constantly refer to it to get the swirly cage bit right (you know when you have those moments after pencilling and you're inking and you can't remember what goes in front or behind something?)
The codpiece... XD I didn't want to err on the small side since he's so delicious, so I chose to err on the large side. He can come play with me anytime XD
